Alburgh Welcome Center

Draker provides both data collection and a touch-screen kiosk that display technical and basic information  of a 10kW wind turbine to visitors of the Alburgh Welcome Center, in the state of Vermont.  

Data is collected using a Sentalis 200 Wind system, that includes a data logger, sensors, and an energy efficient  computer that runs our Sentalis Graphical User Interface (GUI). The graphical user interface feeds to a touch screen Kiosks that displays animated graphics, allowing visitors to characterize the wind resource on site, and understand the efficiency and performance of the wind turbine.

The educational data display puts emphasis on teaching the public by giving them a platform of processed information that allows them to realize the cost saving and environmental benefits of wind-generated electricity. Due to the proximity to the canadian information can be accessed in both french and english.
